Euro-tuner ABT Sportsline has announced performance mods for the Audi Q7 V12 TDI, which already happens to be the most powerful mass-production turbodiesel SUV in the world.
The Audi Q7 V12 TDI already boasts 500 hp and an astounding 737 lb-ft of torque between 1750 rpm and 3250 rpm. For ABT this was just the base for creating their ABT AS7.
Taking the same engine and tweaking it a little further, ABT came out with figures of 560 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque. ABT claims that peak power is available from as low as 3750 rpm.
The Quattro all-wheel-drive system is standard, as is a 6-speed tiptronic auto gearbox. The AS7 can do the 0-60 mph run in 5.1 seconds, with a top speed of 161 mph for the 5800 lbs truck.
Appearance mods for the AS7 are limited to a collection of alloy wheels up to 22-inch in size.
