BMW is showing off a customized X6 ambulance at the upcoming RETTmobil rescue vehicle show in Germany. To top it off, it is the xDrive50i version, among the fastest SUVs on the planet.
Following the X6 M safety car which BMW rolled out for MotoGP, this specially-equipped X6 xDrive50i, with a 407 hp twin-turbo 4.4L V8, is being presented as a first-responder vehicle, carrying a doctor or paramedic to the scene of an emergency before an ambulance can get there. Few details are available, but some of the obvious additions include an overkill of flashing lights on the grille.
